The incumbent who will be reporting to Sinter Plant Shift Supervisor and is responsible for managing the activities surrounding the operation of the sinter ladles on a shift basis. Responsible for overall sintering operation and to help the team reach maximum efficiency and output.

  Key Responsibilities

·       Adhere to daily planning to ensure smooth operation of site.

·       Manage the mixing and loading of raw materials into sinter ladles, ensure plant productivity.

·       Perform root cause analysis and propose/resolve problems.

·       Recording of log sheets and process parameters

·       Identify improvement opportunities.

·   Promote Safety, Environmental, Health and Quality Control programs within his/her area of responsibility

·       Assisting in ADHOC activities

Responsible for overall throughput, quality, and sizing of the operation and to help the team reach maximum efficiency and output.

Reporting to the Sinter Plant Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible to assist in the entire sintering plant activities, including raw material mixture/batching-, pelletizing process- and sinter ladle management, on a shift basis, ensuring its smooth and safe operation to achieve the desired outputs;

  • Safety management – Follow- and suggest improvements on safe operating procedures and standards and conduct housekeeping activities throughout the sinter plant and its auxiliary processes/equipment.
  • Process management – Understanding, problem-solving and taking corrective action on process/equipment deviations. (Raw material batching, Pelletizing, Sintering and shutdown activities).
  • Ad-hoc activities – Support the production process through conducting ad-hoc activities, as required.
  • Collaboration & Communication – Effectively and clearly communicate and collaborate with own team and Shift Supervisor.

This job is to control and process business dealings in accordance with the highest of standards, and monitor the entire route that a contract takes. From tender to contract negotiations and formulation to the controlling of proper compliance ensuring that the company’s contractual relationships are managed effectively and in compliance with legal and business requirements

  • Oversees the creation, execution, and analysis of contracts for Finance Department.
  • Monitor contractual matters inclusive administration/advice on all contractual matters from preparation of tenders till final and post contract period.
  • Manage and prepare contract documentations and schedules as well as providing support in the estimation of project costs, preparation of specifications and bill of quantities.
  • Manage storage of all the contract documents, either hardcopy or electronic copy.
  • Leading the tendering process, administering tender evaluation by the committee and coordinating award recommendation by the Board.
  • Develops and maintains working relationships with vendors, suppliers and colleagues across departments.
